Your comments:

"I can not stand either team. I love baseball, So I will most likely watch. Maybe it is because my ATLANTA BRAVES are not there. However I believe the METS would not have made it there if they had to play us. I am happy for all the fans out there, since they did get there, I am not being a bad sport. I just feel as though this is going to be bad for baseball. Also bad for EVERYBODY ELSE. The Yankees are just expected to win, I hope they lose. I can not speak for others but I am sick of hearing YANKEES...YANKEES...YANKEES. EVERYTHING. I must say I have to root for the Mets just because it is National League. Also I don't want Joe Torre to have another Parade. I would like the Yankees to get swept but since it's Mets .vs. Yankees. I'll gladly root for the Mets winning it in game seven. Thanks for listening." J.W., Naugatuck

"I am a fan of both Mets and the Yankees. I just wish the best team wins. I do believe that it is healthy for the city. I would like to see a different team win, such as Boston Red Sox or S.F Giants -- A former N.Y. team. This would be fair and more exciting. Thanks." Al, New Milford

"I have been and always will be a Yankee fan. I fully believe that the Yankees will dominate over the Mets. Ever since I can remember, family members have told me countless stories of the Yankees. All part of the reason why I think they're so great. However if the Yankees were not part of the World Series, I would have to root for the Red Sox." Yankee Fan, Kent

"Ode to the Yankees
(sung to the tune of Old Smokey)

This year the Yankees
Will win the World Series.
They'll win it with pride.
They'll knock the poor Mets
On their sorry hides!!!!"

Yanks, Fitchville

"NO, I'M NOT EXCITED ABOUT THE WORLD SERIES. I'M A RED SOX FAN!" P.F.W., Shelton

"The Yankees are all about money. Anybody can buy a championship. Steinbrenner has bought too many! GO Mets!" Jon, Glastonbury

"It looks like the surveyor thinks baseball is boooring. The image is Rick Reed, pitcher for the New York Mets. You're showing him throwing the ball with his left arm. He's actually throws righthanded! Get with the program." S.H., Avon

"I've been a Red Sox fan for many, many years. There are flashbacks - Bucky Dent & the Yankees ... Bill Buckner in the series with the Mets ... At least one of those teams will lose this World Series." Gregorio, Waterbury

"As a beleaguered, frustrated, abused Red Sox fan, I can only say that this World Series is a tragedy of monumental proportions! This is rubbing salt into an open wound! I will not watch a single solitary second of it. I will ignore it and pretend it never happened!" C.M.C., Woodstock

"While I think both Teams are GREAT in their own respect, I also think that NEW YORK (especialy YANKEE) fans are the most arrogant, disrespectful people I have ever encountered -- Bar None." Bill, West Haven

"Baseball is a waste of time. People should spend their time doing something productive like getting an education or doing community service." Erick, Washington

"It is absolutely incredible to me that this crew of multimillionaires have not mastered the basic rules of how the game is played. They don't run out hits. They throw to the wrong base. They are more interested in looking at themselves on the big screen than they are in learning the basics of the game - like how to lay down a bunt. The payoff is that kids can neither stay up so late nor afford the price of a ticket. The game will shortly die." R.W.O., Niantic

"You should have had more options for people that like baseball but do not like either of these teams. More choices = more responses." Me, Waterbury

"LETS GO METS! Gotta love the miracle mets, even if they don't win, they sure put up one heck of a fight. The Yankees are great players, but the Mets are something special :) " M.D.R., Sharon

"I would like to comment on the Roger Clemens incident (the flying bat, if you will). I have always participated in sports, during my youth and now I'm involved with my children's activities.

In all my years of participating and viewing different sporting events, I have never been so angry and disappointed in the game of baseball, Roger Clemens, and the umpires involved. Clemens claims he was throwing the bat at the on-deck circle and did not think Piazza was going to leave the batters box. Take the time to look at the tape of the event and you will clearly see that Clemens eyes are focused on Piazza. More importantly was the fact that he was allowed to stay in the game.

The head umpire "should have" immediately thrown him out of the game for unsportmanslike conduct. However, he was allowed to remain in the game. Frank Robinson has said that we was not going to suspend him because of the appeal process and imposed a $50,000 fine (WOW, that will really hurt Clemens).

I'm sorry to say that I will not watch the rest of the series, who cares if I do, right! However, maybe if enough of us boycott, object, voice our opinions something will happen or someone might listen. What happened to "It's more than winning or losing it's how you play the game". Some of our professionals need a lesson! I have always been competitive and have taught the same to my daughters. We have always played hard and fair and took our defeat with pride and shooks the hand of the opponent whether we won or loss. Respect and sportmanship is more important than winning. There were many children at the game and millions more watching, what do they think of the incident? I know how upset my daughters were. Ask your children!!

I think I will sit by the fire and start a good book and enjoy the fall season in New England. However, the fall classic will not be part of my viewing plans. Enjoy the game ROGER!" Mike, Pomfret Center
