"Hey, I finished Christmas shopping a month ago. It has to be like that. The prices aren't any cheaper but it's a little more enjoyable when you aren't waiting a minimum of 30 minutes in line per store. Or getting crushed trying to go from store to store. I went to the Meriden mall a few nights past and it took a half hour to find a parking spot. Then once you find one you can bet 5 other cars saw that same very one and it's then a drag race to see who makes it first without hitting all the other congestion there. Or if you win the spot you almost have to worry that one of the competitors (who was probably waiting longer than you) will destroy your car. So just as you get in, it's like a race to get out. While I was searching for a spot, I saw the girl behind me give a car money to have his spot. He was getting out anyway, why pay him? I just figured there's even holiday scalpers. These are the people that go out in massive groups of cars and park in an area where there is hardly any room left to begin with. And there they sit, patiently waiting to sell their spot to a poor soul who has run out of patience and suddenly 30 bucks doesn't sound like a bad price to end their pain and suffering.
