Your comments:

"I was torn between 'I ignore it' because I don't watch it, and 'it's atrocious' based on the commercials I've seen for it. I just don't understand why society as a whole craves entertainment that is so extreme. Or so violent or sexually orientated. We must be coming close to the End Times spoken of in the Bible because is sure seems like Satan is working overtime to get people to cross over to his side." C.G.F., Naugatuck

"The XFL sound like it stands for Xtreme Football League. I may be hoping against hope that it will be around for a long time." Michael, Meriden

"I won't spend a lot of time on this, as it is late and I need my rest. First off We all have to get a chance, not only in the bigger things at life, but in life all around us, Thinking it out, ask yourself this: 'What got the rest of what we see on TV in the first place, I would love to think that only MY show's are what everyone needed to enjoy.' This is not true as we all know this. Now let me share something with you and others looking on ... I am only a mirror in life, told to you this so many times, I did! You will get what you see. Did you not see this already." Francis, Windsor Locks

"Good solid hitting, just like the NFL. The cure for the Sunday blues after the Super Bowl is over? Yes and no. Too much emphasis on the vivacious Cheerleaders? Way too much. NFL, XFL, CFL, USFL, whatever league it is, it's all about football not rump shaking in front of the camera. Let the 9 and 10 year olds watch and learn the game without being force fed about the birds and the bees. No offense to the Cheerleaders for doing what they were hired for, but it's not part of the game." Tony, Hamden

"Frankly I think it's a slap in the face for the NFL. It really sucks." R.P., Norwich

"I love it, I think it is more interesting than NFL, more fun to watch and the best part is that it can't be fixed because these men are playing for money, which they can only get if they 'WIN', so it can't be fixed." L.A., Westbrook

"You should add the selection 'it should be taken off the air.' I was appalled with the language and sexuality of a program on prime time." P.L.P., Clinton

"I think the XFL is very entertaining to watch. I think they are working hard to win. I know if I was going to make a lot more money if I win I would be too. I enjoy watching it and I have alot of friends that enjoy it also. We plan on going to actually see a game live. Plus how many NFL and AFL games can you see at a reasonable price?" C.D.L., Waterbury

"Give it a chance. Its fun. I like it a lot." B.E., Bethel

"Jesse Ventura is great man. He needs more TV shows." M.T., Torrington

"I think that it is the best thing in sports history. If others don't agree, that's their problem. I'm just telling you what I know." L.Z., Hartford

"I think that you should add to your list of choices, 'it's stupid and fake.' How do we know that these people aren't making this stuff up to produce a good TV image? Who cares if we hear what they say? Yes, even I think it's amusing to hear everybody ramble on during the game. In my personal opinion the XFL is not going to last too long." M.C., Noank

"I am a women and I like football, but this is far from the NFL, the rules, money, and the so-called cheerleaders. They need to put some clothes on! It is tasteless and embarrassing to the word cheerleaders, they dress more like strippers." L.A., Stratford

"I gave it a week and won't watch it again." Ed, Kent
