"By all means, "The Lord of the Rings". I have been waiting for someone to make a serious adult attempt at this story for years. It hasn't been until now that the level of cinematic technology has reached a point where a story such as this can be seriously attempted.

The book was recently given the prestige of being named the "greatest book ever written in the english language" in every English speaking country except the USA. (We voted for 'Gone with the Wind.') Most other stories listed will be long forgotten in a few years, but 'The Lord of the Rings'. Has stood the test of time and will continue to do so." J.B., Naugatuck
