"I think that if you had asked the question; 'How old are you?', the graph pictured would have been nearly identical to the one for this particular question. It seems that for the vast majority of people, as long as one maintains some quality of life, life just keeps getting better and better.

Each period of our life bring new adventures and experiences. In our childhood and adolescent years, everything is new and all things are experienced for the first time with a sense of wonder and excitement. As young adults we explore a world we had only peeked at from behind the protection of our parents. Later, we watch the world unfold again as we bring up our own children and they in turn bring their own into the world.

I suppose that a more proper answer to your question would be, that in any life, if it is properly appreciated, the best time is always right now." J.B., Naugatuck

"This is a tough one. I have had many good years and many bad. I think that where my life is going now will make the 41-50 years the best. I have a good job, good home, good family and friends. I will have to say the next 12 years should be the best." L.J.N., East Haddam

"Retirement is the greatest! Stress free and enjoying life. 'Any excuse to be outside' is my motto. Nature has a wonderfully soothing effect on the pressures of everyday life." Bob, Ashford

"This is a hard one. I am 15, so I have 2 choices ... do i pick what i think i will like best? I think I will like my 20/30's best ... or 60's. But I am 15 and I have a long way to go." Jules, Storrs
