Judging from the tiny number of comments we received on this topic, everyone does seem to be sick of the stock market. Which is maybe why the largest percentage of our respondents are leaving their investments as they are until the bull market (hopefully) comes stampeding back.

Survey Results:

  • Juggled investments to more low-risk - 108 (14%)
  • I'm buying low, now! - 73 (10%)
  • Leaving it - the bull market will return - 330 (43%)
  • I put my money in the mattress - 103 (13%)
  • Haven't figured it out yet - 75 (10%)
  • Taking my chances at the casinos - 43 (6%)
  • Other - 32 (4%)

Your comments:

"I am so sick of this stupid stock market. I think that the country would be a whole lot better without it. It seems that if these morons with thier stocks and shares lose money, the country enters inflation or depression!" D, New Haven

"There are a lot of really undervalued stocks out there. The stocks have been valued to less than the cash on hand in many cases. Tech stocks especially. If you like the product, buy the stock. I'm loading up on AMD, Lucent, Hayes, Motorola, and other such stocks. I just wish I had more money to spend. The market is a cyclical animal. There won't be another window like this for another 25 years. I'm still sitting on my other investments. I don't care about paper losses. I want the dividends; except for AMD they are regular as clockwork." Jon, Glastonbury

"I believe that the stocks will go back up but not to the $150 or $200 price range... Also, the economy is right where it should be!" GL, Guilford
