Email Storage News : Policy change on Sept 1, 2003

To All SNET Internet Members,

You likely already have or will soon receive email from SBC Internet Services (SBCIS) concerning a policy change. To help keep your Internet service running at peak performance, SBCIS will be reducing the amount of information that is currently stored on its servers. Therefore, on September 1, 2003, we will begin enforcing a new 30-day retention period for all email stored online through your account.

On September 1, 2003 and thereafter, any email that has been stored online in your SBCIS SNET Internet email account for over 30 days will be deleted from our servers. For more information, please see:
