Netscape Communicator 4.0

These instructions illustrate Netscape Communicator setup and are valid for version 4.0 for Macintosh and PC. The image you'll see is from the Windows 95 version of Communicator. The Macintosh version is similar but has a few cosmetic differences.

• In Communicator, select the "Edit" menu.
• From this menu, choose "Preferences".
• Expand the "Mail & Groups" Field.
• Select Mail Server.

• In the Mail Server Type field, ensure that the "Leave messages on server after retrieval" box is not selected.
• Click "OK".
