SNET Internet welcomes the submission of web sites to the web editor for possible inclusion in our catalog of links. In conjunction with the launch of our new home site in February 1999, we deliberately eliminated many links and started fresh with a setup we believe will allow us to better manage links and present them in a more organized and useful way for our subscribers and other visitors.

Inclusion of a web address in the "featured" links catalog is at the discretion of the web editor. All sites submitted will be added to a database that we expect to make searchable to users as a web site feature in the future.

When considering a site for inclusion, we are guided generally by the following:

The site must provide online information or services of significant interest to SNET Internet subscribers. Sites originating in Connecticut or with information of particular relevance to state residents are most welcome.
Generally, we will not link to sites that duplicate or compete with resources or products offered by SNET or SNET Internet.
The site must be legal and appropriate.

Again, decisions by the web editor regarding what is appropriate are final. In the interests of keeping our links section both useful and fresh, we may from time to time rotate links in popular categories. Just because a link is not included immediately does not mean it will not be included eventually. Ultimately, we hope to have a fully searchable database of sites and pages of particular interest to the Connecticut online community. Your submissions help bring closer the day we will be able to provide such a service.
