Material Removals
I. General Statement of SNET Internet's Policy.
It is the policy of SNET Internet to respect all copyrights, trademarks, servicemarks and patents owned by third parties and
to respond appropriately when SNET Internet becomes aware that infringing materials, or materials which violate other third
party rights, may be present on the SNET Internet Web site (the "SNET Web Site") or on SNET Internet's Internet access and/or
hosting servers (the "SNET Servers").
II. Material Removal Procedure.
If you believe that certain materials (individually or collectively the "Identified Materials") on the SNET Web Site or the
SNET Servers may (i) infringe your intellectual property rights, (ii) defame you, (iii) violate your privacy rights, (iv)
violate your right of publicity, or (v) violate any other rights you may have, and you desire to have such Identified
Materials removed from the SNET Web Site or SNET Servers, you need to comply with the following:
- First you must provide SNET Internet and the posting party with a detailed description of the Identified Materials,
including its location on SNET's Web Site or the SNET Servers.
- Next, you are required to formally request the posting party to remove the Identified Materials, pending SNET Internet's
investigation.
- In order to substantiate your claim, you need to provide SNET Internet with the following:
(a) documentation that you have notified and requested the party which posted the Identified Materials to remove such
Identified Materials;
(b) a copy of the underlying work;
(c) documentation substantiating your claim (e.g. copyright, trademark or patent registration certificates); and
(d) a signed statement, sworn by you under penalty of perjury, that the Identified Materials violate a specified right of
yours, and that the use of the Identified Materials is not defensible.
- Send notification challenging improper postings of Identified Materials to SNET Internet at copyright@snet.net and to the SBC Internet Services Designated Agent at copyright@sbis.sbc.com.

While SNET Internet is investigating your complaint, if the posting party refuses to remove the Identified Materials pending
SNET Internet's investigation, SNET Internet will relocate such Identified Materials such that the Identified Materials are
not accessible to the public.
- If SNET Internet concludes that you have raised a legitimate claim, it will continue to deny access to the Identified
Materials. If SNET Internet concludes that you have not raised a legitimate claim, SNET Internet will restore access to the
Identified Materials.
