Newsgroups in Netscape 3.x

If you are using Netscape 3, which SNET shipped to new customers until 1998, we strongly recommend you upgrade to Netscape 4.61. Log in to Personal Options and look for the upgrade.

In the SNET Internet version of Netscape 3, you will NOT be able to easily change the name of your news server. You will need to upgrade, use Outlook Express or utilize a third-party newsgroup software program to access newsgroups.
